The first High Noon Stamford Summer Concert Summer Concert Series in Stamford NY of the 2026 season is almost here!

Join us this Thursday, June 11th at Noon in Stamford, NY, for an hour of free live music featuring High Noon Concert Series founder Jim Kopp and Bobby Curious performing an informal, off-the-cuff set of acoustic favorites.

Jim launched the High Noon Stamford Summer Concert Series six years ago, and I've had the pleasure of helping organize and promote the series for the past several seasons. Together, as the two-person volunteer committee known as The Board of Musication, they've worked to bring live local music to Stamford's lunch crowd and community year after year.

Bring your lunch, bring a friend, and spend part of your Thursday with us. Music starts at Noon and wraps up at 1:00 PM.

Hope to see you there!

The Village of Stamford Christmas Tree Lighting will be Sunday 12/6 beginning at 5:00 pm.

While waiting for the tree lighting at dusk, holiday songs will be led by musicians from the Summer Concert Series in Stamford NY until Santa arrives on the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department Fire Truck around 4:30 pm to help light the tree.
The community is encouraged to bring and donate a non-perishable food item for the Stamford Food Pantry.

Then Santa and everyone will take a short stroll to the indoor warmth of the nearby Stamford Fire Department where you can take a photo with him and tell him your Christmas wishes. Hot chocolate will be served with more holiday songs.
Then Santa and The Grinch will get on the fire truck for their annual parade around the village.

"The elves at the Stamford Fire Department are all excited
because they heard that
Santa is coming to town
on December 6th at 5pm to help light
the community tree in
Veterans Park and then
invite everyone back to
the Stamford Fire House
for cookies and hot
chocolate, which is being
provided by T.P.'s Cafe.
There will be photo op-
portunities. There's a ru-
mor going around that
The Grinch is looking to
crash the party and join
in on the fun. Fire Chief
Don VanEtten said there
will also be some carolers
on hand at 4.30pm in the park and later at the Fire House. Non-perishable
food items are being col-
lected for the food pantry
and each child that brings
an item to donate will
get a ticket. Santa will
pick a ticket to see who
will get to flip the magic
switch to light the tree."
