My latest deconstructed screening project using China Red And Turquoise thickened dyes. The grape color is the result of main color mixing, right on the screen. Silk noil jacket coming sooon . I printed 3 yards this time- serious work!

After batching and washing the result is just what I was after. Pale indigo and lavender!!! Now onward to become a kimono style jacket!

New deconstructedscreen printed silk noil fabric. Now it sits overnight and gets washed in the morning . I used shades of lavender and indigo in the printing. It will become a kimono jacket .

I am a Studio member of Artful Dimensions Gallery in Fredericksburg, VA. Artful Dimensions Gallery is a cooperative, non profit gallery that solely represents art and artists that work in 3 dimensions. It is the only gallery of its kind between and within the Richmond to DC corridor. At the gallery I maintain a textile collage studio where I work in felting, beadwork and art quilting. I also teach to small groups and individuals in such topics as wet felting. felt collage and Nuno felting, book making including creating Junk Journals, Free Form Bead Embroidery and textile collage pieces similar to to the Riot of Roses bracelet shown above.

Lately I have become obsessed with Eco Printing and have developed an introductory course that is very successful and always exciting!
