Hello Shakespeare Fans, Friends and Aficionados!

I received the message below from Kevin Doerr (son of Kathy Doerr, SLS's greatest supporter)

Remember a few years ago, when you and Kathy wanted to build a Lego model of the Globe Theater as part of a St. Louis Shakespeare fundraiser? Well, there is currently a Lego Ideas project that is very close to reaching enough fan support to be considered for judge review!

If this gets another 1,300 votes before June 7 2027, Lego will consider making it into an official product. Note that a lot of finalists do not make it past the judging panel (usually only the top 3 Lego Ideas are approved each year...) But I think this one has enough educational value to be a strong contender.

If you could please help spread the word to your subscribers, I think we could make this real! They will need to make a free Lego.com account to vote.

Whaddaya say, friends and Shakespeare fans - are you with us? Let's make this happen! And I will buy a Lego Globe model and create a tiny St. Louis Shakespeare paving stone to sit at its base.

We had a great audience last night at MSMT's A HARD DAY'S NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD! If you like Beatles-ish music (who doesn't?) and scary-esque zombie movies (more please!) and experiencing your entertainment in glorious black-and-white (the entertainment, not you - you can wear any colors you like), then get your ticket now! Only 4 more performances - don't wait!
(P.S. It's family friendly, so the only nightmare you only have to worry about is your children growing up and wanting a career in theatre). See you at the theater!

Another entertaining evening at HARD DAY'S NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD rehearsal. Our British pop band are sounding great - I'm looking forward to hearing them in the theater. And a cast of terrifically talented performers is just so . . . weird (and I mean that as a compliment!!!) As Mr. Hanson used to say, "We're right where we should be. We need every rehearsal we've got, but we're right where we should be.")
