Founded in January 2025, .official is a St. Louis-based K-Pop dance group dedicated to bringing fun, diversity, and creativity to the local K-Pop community.
Since our debut, we've aimed to create energetic and fun performances. As a crew we have proudly placed 5th at the 2025 Gateway Korea Chuseok Dance Competition and received the award for Best Costumes, have covered and posted a wide variety of different dances, and have performed for several events. Orion 27 continues to grow with every performance, uniting dancers of different backgrounds under our shared passion of dance.

is WashU’s premier K-pop dance group. We host an annual K-pop
dance showcase on campus and organize K-pop dance workshops and
various social events throughout the year. We also regularly participate in
dance competitions. Last year, we earned second place at the University of Chicago K-pop Dance Competition and fifth place at the 2024 Chuseok K-
pop Festival Dance Competition.

dance.stl is a K-pop dance group started at the end of 2025 that is associated
with Pack Dance, a local studio. The group was formed by a dance teacher at Pack Dance and by students taking that teacher’s K-pop dance class. The
group has performed at the following events -

Please join us for a special discussion of Mourning to Morning: A Korean War Survivor's Memoir from Han to Hope, the inspiring memoir of Lee Soon Shaw, mother of St. Louis community leader Judy Draper.

Through her remarkable story, Lee Soon Shaw shares her experiences of surviving the Korean War, overcoming hardship and loss, and finding resilience, hope, and purpose. Her memoir offers a powerful personal perspective on Korean history, immigration, family, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

This event is co-sponsored by the Korean American Association of St. Louis, Webster University, and Gateway Korea Foundation. The Gateway Korea Foundation's mission is to promote cross-cultural appreciation and understanding through Korean arts and cultural experiences in the American Heartland.

Join us for an engaging conversation about memory, survival, identity, and the Korean American experience as we reflect on one woman's journey from mourning to hope. All are welcome.
