Have you seen Tesseract Theatre Company’s production of JAGGED LITTLE PILL? There are some Mehlville HS theatre connections you might not know about.

Ella Drake (choreographer) is a MHS theatre alumni.
Rhiannon Creighton (fight choreographer) is a MHS theatre alumni.
Haylie Gombos (marketing manager) was our student teacher this past spring.
Abby Turner (stage manager) came to observe some theatre classes last school year.

What do theatre teachers do during the summer?”

I’m glad you asked! This summer your director tagged along with Oakville HS theatre troupe as 4 of their thespians attended the 2026 International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana.
Today was the day I was most looking forward to because I got to attend a workshop with the creators who made CLUE possible! So, to sum it up, Ms. Beck was doing (show) homework this summer.

Ms. Beck’s class, The Stage, put on their performance of MISS NELSON IS MISSING for 4th graders at MOSAIC Elementary t today. This show was directed by Ms. Gombos, our student teacher, as her capstone project.

We’re going to miss you Ms. Gombos and enjoyed every minute with you!
