The actual Location Puzzle will be posted this Friday. You can solve it to discover where the event will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10.

For the second time the Puzzled Pint organization has chosen a set of puzzles I designed to use in their monthly one-night event. It’s exciting to know that on Tuesday, Feb. 10, hundreds of teams in countries all over the planet will be solving my puzzles. My puzzles are themed around a murder mystery. I’ll be greeting puzzlers at one of the two St. Louis locations. (The one in the county.) Participation is free. See details posted this Friday at PuzzledPint.org. (Solve a puzzle to find the exact location. Hints provided make it easy and the event is all about a set of puzzles for the team to work on together.) Challenging fun.

So far, 2025 has been an exciting year for Bullfeathers PRODUCTIONS. The highlight has to be writing and hosting an original murder mystery weekend in lovely Santa Barbara, California. Thanks to Mailers Haven, a wonder company celebrating 20 years in business. They actually flew their employees and significant others to the weekend celebration. I was able to transform the lovely Mar Monte hotel in Santa Barbara into “The White Crocus.” The whole weekend was a satire of the show we all know and love complete with an actual room transformed into the crime scene where the victim was drowned in the bathtub. Members of the Mailer Haven team had fun playing the roles of the famous guests. Thanks again to Mailers Haven for including me in their plans. It was a wonderful event. Special thanks to Rayann Leslie, Brittney Smith and Tonya Wade of MH for working to make the event a success.

Hey, Bullfeathers is Going Global!

My puzzle-making tendencies will be on display with an organization called Puzzled Pint this Tuesday evening. It’s a group dedicated to the fun of puzzle-solving. (To find out more, go to puzzledpint.org.

Teams made up of more than 5,000 members meet in bars each month in many cities in 14 countries, including St. Louis to solve really difficult puzzles…while drinking. (I can say I do my best when drinking.) To find out where the event is each month, you first solve a puzzle online to reveal a word of phrase that unlocks the location.

Tuesday these avid puzzlers all around the world will be solving a set of puzzles that I created. That is exciting for me! I want to thank Bob and Kathy Becker, the local heads of Puzzled Pint, for their support.

Last month, I completed a commissioned pet portrait. The pet grandmother wanted to gift the portrait to Daisy’s family. She said they were thrilled with it.
“Daisy” – 24”x 24” acrylic
This beloved pet is named “Daisy” and I was commissioned to create a Valentine’s Day gift portrait for her family. Hidden in the picture are Daisy’s favorite toys — Lambchop and soccer balls. Harder to find is the message in the red daisy background, “We love Daisy!” and the names of the four family members painted into her bandana.
