Saw some fantastic theater last night! Funny, sad, moving, exquisite...
The cast is brilliant. And the writing is brilliant. And the direction. There are gay themes but anyone who has loved, been loved, or wanted love will be captivated. Nonsense and Beauty it's heartbreaking and uplifting. I highly recommend it!

PS The playwright, Scott C Sickles, also wrote a short play that will be part up the May Plays on the Menu, Turtles and Bulldogs.

It's a small small theatre world. We're presenting Turtles and Bulldogs by Scott C. Sickles May 21, 22. The world premiere of his play Nonsense and Beauty is playing at the Repertory Theatre starting March 6. We didn't know this when we selected his play. Go figure.

The program starts at 12:00pm with great catered lunch. Then professional actors perform staged readings of exciting rarely-produced short plays followed by brief discussion. The program is an hour and a half from start to finish.
