Take a mid-week break with Wednesday Night Jazz Jam, presented by The Kranzberg Arts Foundation. Free and family-friendly, the event celebrates the legacy and the future of St. Louis’ jazz scene, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Wednesday, Bob DeBoo hosts the Jazz Jam inside The Dark Room at The Grandel. "Turn Off the Lights" is a spectacular concert tribute that pays homage to the iconic Teddy Pendergrass. Performed by CJ Jefferson, he doesn’t hold back a note as he embodies the voice, style and charm of Teddy P. Located at 3610 Grandel Square, in the heart of the Grand Center Arts District, the historic Grandel Theatre was renovated by the Kranzberg Arts Foundation and features main stage productions; visual art exhibits; resident-offered dance classes and educational programs; and live jazz nightly as the home of The Dark Room.

In cooperation with Grand Center Inc., the Kranzberg Arts Foundation operates and manages The Grandel, creating significant partnerships to bring exciting new theatre, dance, and concert programming to The Grandel’s stage.
