Artist Ben Bradshaw’s new exhibit, “SONG,” is a delight for the eyes and the imagination! Expect to see abstract art pieces painted on various different, multi-sided, irregular shapes – not square or rectangular. Ben builds his own canvases for larger works. Likewise, he makes unusually shaped custom wood panels for his smaller works. These shapes are an integral part of his unique art.

Join us for Ben’s opening reception on Saturday, December 13, from 10 am – 2 pm. His art will make a unique holiday gift. Ben’s second reception is on Saturday, January 24, from noon to 4:00 pm where he will speak more about his art at 2:00 pm. Ben teaches art at Maryville University. And of course, we serve chocolates for all to enjoy.

Please stop by! The Gretchen Brigham gallery is open from 10 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday.

Please join us tomorrow, Saturday, August 30, from 2-5 pm for a reception for Ana Sumner's "Naturescapes" exhibit. Opera goers loved her work, and in fact she sold nine pieces. Good news, there are still many wonderful pieces left!

In this exhibit, Ana highlights three settings: under the sea, trees, & flowers. Ana's unique textile genre uses tiny to wide ribbons to achieve depth on her hand-painted water color backgrounds. She also makes 3-D creatures to fit the scene, and for the underwater scenes she adds tiny beads. Her art is SO UNIQUE!

If you can't make it tomorrow, then please join us on Saturday, September 13 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm for her talk in the gallery. As an aside, opera goers thoroughly enjoyed her two artist talks on Saturday evenings before the opera.

Ana's show closes on Friday, September 26.
