What a beautiful night! Thank you to everyone who came to the show last night. You were a wonderful audience, and I know there were a lot of newcomers there and more than a few that I think fell in love with burlesque last night.
Thank you so much to our incredible cast! Allura Fette, Chi Chi Buxuom, Lou Kiss, Abi Sith, Rydyr, Dizzy Tunt, Roxxy Missbehavin' and Isis the Entertainer. As I spoke with the audience after the show, I heard every act mentioned as someone's stand out moment, and I think that is a testament to just how incredible these acts and performers were.
Thank you to my amazing crew. Cheery Blossom and Bad Apple were so amazing and they kept everything moving behind the scenes wonderfully. Thank you to our Box Office, Little Bo Peepshow, who was the beautiful, welcoming face that everyone saw as they first entered the door and set the tone for the kind of show we were going to have. Thank you to Luke Thighwalker for keeping things running on the tech side, we'd literally be in the dark without you!
Thank you to the Greenfinch Theater and Dive! This space is incredible and a gift to performers. Thank you to the owners Colin Healy & Bradley Rohlf opening this wonderful space to us, and thank you to Lydia for taking care of everyone at the bar.
Thank you to my family and friends who helped me make this possible, especially my wonderful partner. Thank you especially to Dizzy Tunt for holding my hand through producing. She's a rockstar producer and I am RUSTY and I couldn't have done it without her. She and Abi Sith also are always there for me when I'm talking out creative decisions, as well as just life stuff, they are my rocks. Thank you to my hairdresser by Jessica for doing my hair so I didn't have a meltdown about how bad I am at doing hair later.
This was just the birthday I wanted, a stage full of talented people, and audience full of wonderful people cheering for them. Thank you for coming out on a chilly January night and supporting live performance art and artists of all backgrounds.
