One month since we welcomed our 2nd baby girl into this world!

Meet Ruth Sidra Priest
Born on October 12th, 2025

You might or might not have noticed that I kinda dropped off the face of the earth after a very busy and amazing 2024. Well....this is the reason...

2025 was probably the hardest and humbling year of my life. Physically and mentally but spiritually? Man! Never relied on God more than this.

Since we found out about our new addition to our family
- I went to the ER several times because I sick I got with early pregnancy "morning sickness" (I was throwing up 7-10 times a day)
- Tommy went to the ER with more blood clot symptoms that ended in a big procedure and ultimately a diagnosis of Myelofibrosis. (It's a rare type of blood cancer. Not a type that requires him to get chemo and other aggressive treatments right away but it's a long term management disease where it might end up with a bone marrow transplant or some miraculous clinical trial's success)
- Around 16 weeks of pregnancy, I had a massive bleed from partial placental abruption but our miracle survived
- I had more ER visits for various reasons
- I had to get iron infusion
- I was having labor signs the last month of pregnancy
- I got induced to get Ruth out at 39 weeks because of all the complications
- Ruth was born FAST and decided that she didn't want to breathe at first
- I had a massive saddle pulmonary embolism that sent me into the ICU the first night post delivery

But finally...we are here. Have been soaking up all the newborn snuggles while adjusting to the threenager phase hardcore.

As the holiday season approaches, I am obviously not booking as much as before but I am ready to slowly ease back to Calligraphy and events because I have missing doing this and connecting with you all 🧡

My truths:

- I ALWAYS drink my coffee hot! If I want something cold, I will go for ice cream instead 🤪
- you can probably easily kidnap me with your puppy or book collection 🤷🏽‍♀️
- I LOVE a good romantasy.... honestly as long as there's dragons and magic in it, I am sold!
- I cannot resist dangly or uniquely designed earrings! Hence my ever growing earrings collection.
- my house is ALWAYS open for people! I can be the hostess with the mostest AND also welcome you to my messy home!

What my husband will say about me:
- I have too many serving dishes
- I have too many craft supplies
- I have too much stuff!

Friends will say:
- I’m empathetic & thoughtful to literally anyone with a pulse
- I’m addicted to coffee but at least I’ll admit it 😂
- I’m one heck of a hostess 💃🏽

Thankful for each and everyone of you! 🧡🧡🧡

As slow as I have been about posting on social media, I will be taking tomorrow off fully. There won't be any crazy sale or sales because your girl makes everything by hand and the time and effort that goes into each and every piece does not change how many orders I get. But the love you guys have shown me this year has humbled me and I am gearing up to be more present and add more value to your lives in the coming year!
