NYC friends! I’m excited to dance with you once again! The topic of this workshop will be HIP MOVEMENTS!

💃🏾You’ll get a better understanding of how to move your hips in different ways
💃🏾 You’ll learn how to move your hips with greater efficiency.
💃🏾 You’ll practice applying some foundational ideas about hip movements to steps that are already in your dance vocabulary - it’ll extend what you already know and give you greater mastery over it.
💃🏾 Brand new to samba? That’s great! You’ll start with basic hip movements that will launch you into future samba fabulousness!

Some things you should know about me: ** I REALLY love velvet. So cuddly! ** I make weird faces when dancing, especially when I’m focused on practicing something. For some reason I don’t blink 🤣😂 thank god this dress looks good because my face, not so much ** I will probably always prefer cropped tops, short skirts, and clothes that are generally a little bit too tight 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m tired of fighting it! That’s why I didn’t want to take my new practice outfit off. It might be the most “me” thing I’ve made in a while ❤️❤️❤️. ** A rude person one told me I have “man hands” and I subconsciously hide them while dancing by making fists. 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾

I was feeling myself that day because I’d done my braids, made my skirt, earrings, belt, and bracelet, and had worked hard on my dancing to feel more confident! I love it when hard work pays off!
