Yesterday’s events were unfortunate. It’s news no business owner wants to wake up to. But it’s also part of owning a brick-and-mortar business. The risk does not outweigh the reward.
I’m proud to own T-Doggs Tattoos.
This was my father’s business, and he worked hard through both good and difficult times to build it into what it was when I took over in 2022.
I have always felt safe here. We have always felt love from the community. And truly, we are proud to be a staple in this neighborhood.
Our clientele comes from all over, and I can’t even put into words what it means to be a trusted name in the tattoo industry for almost three decades. Despite what has been said about Spanish Lake over the years, you all have continued to support us and refer your friends and family to us. That means more than you know.
I will not let the actions of one young man overshadow all of the good that has come from T-Doggs Tattoos over the last 28 years.
I see the efforts being made to make this area desirable again. I’m part of many of those conversations and groups working toward that change. I have always advocated for this community, and even after last night, I still feel the same.
There is real possibility here, especially with the new Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park opening just minutes from us next year.
We are grateful to be here. I have absolutely felt the love from this community. Thank you for your support!
Onward and upward from here.
