Kids have wild imaginations and there’s something powerful about giving them a space where the grown-ups are willing to play along.

When children are encouraged to imagine, dress up, create, move, and play, they learn that their ideas matter. They learn to be curious, take up space, and see possibility in the world around them.

That’s why costumes, creative play, different forms of expression, and themed events are such a meaningful part of the experience at Central Studio Academy.

Childhood is magical and is not something that should be rushed through. There is value in making room for wonder and creating an environment where kids can simply be kids.

🧟‍♀️ Zombie Prom is coming to Central Studio 🧟‍♂️

For the first time ever, older CSA dancers can let the spirit of the season take over at a themed dance party made just for them! Come dressed for the occasion, bring your friends, and let loose on the dance floor. This is also a great chance to Invite friends from outside the studio as well!

Parents, enjoy two hours to yourself while your dancer enjoys a lively Halloween night with friends!

Dancers can come dressed in costume for an evening filled with games, crafts, food, goodie bags, and plenty of spooky fun.

We host various events throughout the year that often include an element of art and crafting.

We do this because we understand that creativity can take many forms. Different mediums give students new ways to explore self-expression, build confidence, and connect with their own ideas in healthy, meaningful ways.

Students also get opportunities to be part of some creative processes that go into their spring production in May. From helping create elements for the show to seeing everything that goes into producing a successful event, they discover that there are so many ways to be involved in the magic of a production—both onstage and behind the scenes. ✨

There are many students who share their love of aerial - that also means we share the same equipment. When we make sure we are clean before class, we are helping make the studio a place others like being.

If you've ever done aerial, you know how uncomfortable it can be to use a fabric that is smelly.

Make sure you hear the last one - I bet you'd not think about that one.

Need an outlet for your child's hyperactive energy? Dance class is a perfect safe space for them to use movement as an outlet. Our goal is to provide more tools to for your child to safely express themselves and release pent up energy from sitting at a desk all day in school.

When you enroll your child at Central Studio Academy, they’re getting more than a weekly lesson. They’re stepping into a clear, intentional path of growth.

Each class is part of a thoughtfully designed curriculum that helps dancers build skills, understand their progress, and see where they’re going next.

At the heart of the studio is a love of learning and movement. Through dance, children learn to express themselves, build confidence, connect with their community, and develop social-emotional skills that become part of how they navigate the world.

This is Connection Beyond the Classroom, and today we’re talking about the Dress Code.

The dress code is designed to help every dancer feel comfortable, safe, and ready to move with confidence in class. You can find all of the dress code information on the Central Studio Academy's website by visiting the Parent Portal at the bottom of the main page or by scanning the QR code in your welcom packet.

For Aerial students, a leotard is required, along with leggings or pants that extend to at least the knees.

Following these simple steps help create a safe, energized space where every student is ready to learn, explore Movement, and enjoy the experience!
