Getting ready for a big weekend of classes tomorrow ; a feast day festival at Holy Rosary parish on Sunday,two days of filming with Shalom Media wit their artist divina series, and an very exciting trip back home to Sante Fe on a week. God is so good!

New works from students in Monday handbuilding class,
Recent holy water font workshop, children’s Charlotte Mason private class inspired by Renoir and what’s new this week-
2 openings in the 6 week handbuilding class on Mondays, a couple spots available this Saturday for intro to Wheelthrowing 10/10 9-11am and handbuilding open studio 11:30-1:30 pm. Come and make a travel mug or another scratch pottery piece this Saturday.

Well this is what a Friday am class 9-11 am Wheelthrowing class looks like (we had one young lady missing from here in the pic). Homeschooling mom with daughter just old enough to finally get on the wheel. Yeah the weather is finally almost perfect for class on the veranda!

The Potter does not throw away the clay — He reshapes it. This is not a distant craftsman working cold clay. This is a Father who shapes His children with tender, sovereign love — knowing exactly what He is forming, and never making a mistake. He “makes all things new” (Revelation 21:5), but he does not make new things. This is the key insight. God does not discard creation — He redeems and transforms it from within. Nothing like filling my classroom without walls with kids of all ages and mamas and babies ; today was our first Charlott Mason homeschooling class;
Meeting twice a month starting now through mid December. Homeschool groups get in touch for individualized handbuilding classes for the ages. Today we looked at Renoir and learned of his early personal history with painting porcelain - the littles built pinch pot teacups from the garden. And the tweens built plates we will glaze impressionist style next visit. Private classes available by design. Get in touch
