So we copped the mystery box instead…

That’s UNDER a dollar a record — about 45 cents each! 🤣💰
Can’t beat that!

We did a full unboxing, pulled some gems, some wild cards, and of course… cooked up a fresh BANGAH from the batch. 🔥🎛️

Welcome back to Dollar Bin Bangahz!

In this episode, SerLesson and I hit the road from St. Louis to Kansas City to link with our homie A-Plus (Souls Of Mischief) as he performs alongside The Pharcyde and Cypress Hill. Absolute legendary night!

While we were in KC, we had to stop by Mills Record Company to dig through their “dollar bin” — even though inflation had those joints at $3, $4, and $5. 😂 Instead of picking one-offs, we grabbed a mystery box of 50 records for $20 and took the gamble.

After the show, we drove straight back to St. Louis and pulled up to Suburban Pro Studios in South City to link with our guy Bearvvulf. He hopped on the drums and helped us craft a full beat using three records from the mystery pack.

Pure vibes. Pure creativity. Pure Dollar Bin Bangahz.

🎶 New Episode of Dollar Bin Bangahz! 🎶

This week I’m joined by an old friend, Nathan Womack , the head honcho of Wax Thematique —a label known for digging up obscure cinematic samples, funky global grooves, and eclectic sounds.

For this episode, Nathan and I hit Planet Score Records to dive into their legendary dollar bin. Nathan pulls three wild and unique LPs before we head back to the studio to chop them up. Of course, things don’t always go smoothly—his computer wasn’t cooperating with my audio interface, so we had to make a pit stop at our good friend Trog’s studio. Thankfully, Beats by Trog came through with the save, and we got back to the beat-making business.

From slicing and dicing samples to puréeing grooves into fresh sonic dishes, Nathan cooks up a couple of incredible beats straight from the crates.
