Get ready for another exciting photography experience. Join us at “The Back Drops” in Sophie’s Artist Lounge and be part of an exciting opportunity to explore photography, experimentation, and innovation. Let’s show some love to this month’s Spotlight Photographer, 💫

Taylor Marrie is a St. Louis-based visual artist and photographer. She earned her BFA with an emphasis in photography from Webster University and works as a photographer for The newspaper, capturing Black and q***r arts and entertainment in the STL area ⚜️

In her studio practice, she explores themes of self-discovery, identity, and human relationships through bold, maximalist imagery. As a studio artist at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, she creates functional art—including furniture, ceramics, clothing, footwear, and wall pieces—designed to serve both as everyday objects and artistic statements, merging form and function 🎨
