A true legend was lost today. We are so honored to have played a small but meaningful role in her incredible legacy. Our very own Steve Schankman had the honor of retelling stories of the moments he got to spend with Dolly Parton. Thank you to KTVI FOX 2 for giving Steve the chance to share these memories. Dolly will be missed, but her legacy will outlive us all.

For Glennon LIVE, the assignment was bigger than filling a stage. It was building the right entertainment arc for one of St. Louis’ most meaningful fundraising nights.l

For 2026, Contemporary helped shape that experience by booking Cody Johnson, Alexandra Kay, pre-event entertainment, and FatPocket for the post-show afterparty.

Each choice played a different role.

Cody Johnson delivered the headline concert moment. Alexandra Kay brought a regional connection as a country artist from Waterloo, Illinois. FatPocket kept the energy going long after the main show ended.

That’s the work behind talent booking. It’s not only who can we get?

It’s who fits the room, the audience, the mission, and the moment.

Glennon LIVE went on to raise a historic $6.1 million for SSM Health Cardinal Glennon.

Proud to have played a role in the entertainment experience behind an incredible night.

It’s been an amazing summer with our Summer Squad Contemporary Productions Interns Summer 26 from playing a huge role in a major city banner initiative that’s been in the works for months, helping us win, new business, and bringing fresh perspective and insights to the way we see social, digital and approach our work. It has been so wonderful to have this amazing crew of young created professional professionals! No doubt they all have a great future ahead.

Last week at Alton Amphitheater Kate Peterson was (calmly) running around doing everything and everything needed to ensure the Fireworks over the Mississippi event went off without a hitch. Spoiler alert: she did a an amazing job 👏
