The WashU Office of Recreation oversees all recreational facilities and programming on the Danforth Campus. If you are looking to work out, play sports or just be active, we have something for you! WashU Rec oversees access and membership services at the new Gary M. Sumers Recreation Center and the South 40 Fitness Center. Facilities include weight and cardio spaces, a three-court gymnasium, a ten
th-mile indoor track, three group exercise studios (including a cycling studio), an 8-lane, 25-yard pool with a diving well, racquetball and squash courts. WashU Rec also programs intramural sports and BearFit exercise classes as well as providing administrative oversight of WashU's 42 student-run sport clubs. One of WashU's largest student employers, WashU Rec also provides front line opportunities for students through the Team WashU employment program.
