Faculty Friday! Meet Kathleen Koceja. Kat has been an artist for her entire life and a teacher for a large portion of that life. After earning a full scholarship to the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she graduated with honors in Graphic Design and Illustration, she worked at a number of creative positions from Graphic Designer to public school Art Teacher. She relocated to Wisconsin, the state of her birth, in 2010 with her husband in order to pursue a quieter life with more time to work on creative pursuits of her choice. Kat enjoys many creative interests such as painting, drawing, mixed media collage, sewing as well as jewelry design in many different forms. She loves to share her passion for all creative art forms through teaching students of all ages as well as continuing to learn by taking classes as well. Kat will be teaching her first class at Campanile beginning in January, recycled basket weaving. https://www.campanilecenter.org/Education/art-classes
