Being an event company created by two theatre kids, we would be remiss not to make a post honoring two impactful artists who passed away yesterday.

Dolly Parton was a musical talent, a humanitarian, and someone who never apologized for being “too much.” She taught generations of people that you could be glamorous, funny, outrageous, generous, and sincere... all at once.

And Tim Curry was, quite simply, a centerpiece of so many theatre kid experiences. He was part of the movies we quoted, the characters we imitated, the songs we performed, and the wonderfully strange worlds we escaped into.

Both of them understood something we hold very dear: subtlety is sometimes appropriate, but sometimes camp is, too.

Rest easy, Dolly and Tim. 💜
