We have enjoyed celebrating Emme as our August student of the month! Emme is an amazing dancer, and a wonderful kid. She is responsible, reliable, and a great leader. Congratulations to Emme on being selected for student of the month by the NTDA Faculty!

Auditions for our annual production of The Nutcracker are coming up quick! We can’t wait!! Auditions are open to all dancers age 5 and older. Please fill out the Google form (that can be found on our website and in our Instagram bio) prior to auditions. We hope to see everyone there🩰🧑‍🩰

Our production of the Nutcracker has roles for all ages and skill levels. There are parts for our young, less experienced dancers as well as our advanced dancers. Our production is a student production, which makes it so special for the dancers!

What to expect at auditions:
- Auditions are closed to observers. Please drop your dancer off at the door/ in the lobby! We will have Nutcracker merchandise available on audition day in the lobby🛍️
- When dancers arrive we will measure them and give them a number to pin on. They will then go into the studio to warm-up/ stretch.
- Dancers should wear a leotard, pink tights, and ballet slippers to auditions. Their hair should be in a bun. Dancers with pointe shoes should bring them!
- In the audition itself, we will do small sections from different pieces to see what role best fits your dancer. Some parts of the audition may be challenging, and that’s ok!
- We will send an email informing you if your child has been cast in the production, as well as the rehearsal schedule, within a week after auditions.

We can’t believe that our School Year 2026/27 Session starts on Monday! We are so excited to get back to classes🩰💃🧑‍🩰🤸

It’s not too late to register! We do have some classes with space available. To view our full schedule and to register, please visit our website ntdanceacademy.com. Many classes have a waitlist, and we recommend joining the waitlist for your preferred class and choosing a different class while you wait for a spot to possibly open. Congratulations to our July Student of the Month, Maddie! Maddie gives 100% to every class she takes! She has a wonderful attitude and is eager to learn. She is becoming a beautiful little dancer💕🩰

Fun facts: Maddie is very creative and crafty! When she’s not dancing, she loves to read. She read over 50 books this past school year. She also loves to play with her baby cousin. She wants to teach dance one day!

Maddie is our second Student of the Month! Our student of the month is selected/ recommended by all the NTDA teachers as someone who is working very hard. We can’t wait to see who the next student of the month will be!
