Missouri Artists On Main invites you to enter our new show, "Summer Memories." Summer is the time for outdoor activities and summer fun! Kids look forward to going to the pool, picnics, summer camp and free time with friends. They are happy school is out! Adults are thinking vacations, family group activities and enjoying time with their children, family and friends. This is an open ended show. Your ideas for your artwork can go in many directions, they can be 2D or 3D. MAOM looks forward to showcasing your summer fun of the past or future!

Watercolor with Jean McMullen
Learn the terms and techniques of watercolor in this 6 weeks class that is designed for the beginner as well as the advanced student. The classes are on-going through the summer and fall. New to watercolor, learn the basic's. Intermediate to advanced, I will enhance your skills and bring new experiences to your watercolor knowledge.
Monday & Wednesday July 1-Aug 5 afternoons 1-3:30pm
Tuesday nights 5:30-8pm
Cost: $150 for 6 weeks.

Resident artist Cynthia Borum invites you to a one day workshop where you will create your own unique version of this colorful poppy painting. You will receive instruction on how to create playful back grounds that will enhance your painting and incorporate collage into the piece. You will have a beautiful 11 x 14 canvas painting to take home with you at the end of the day.
When: Friday July 17 9am - 4pm
OR Saturday July 18 9am - 4pm
There will be a break for lunch each day. You may bring a sack lunch or visit one of our awesome restaurants.
Cost: $145 all supplies are provided

Just so you all know, we are so honored and excited to have so many talented artists here at Missouri Artists on Main. In this workshop we will introduce the figure into the landscape using dramatic color and contrast and will utilize great design concepts in order to create more exciting work! The workshop will include demonstrations along with class and individual discussion.
