In this class, students will discuss still life and the advantages of using still life to improve your observational skills and techniques . Amy will guide you through her process from start to finish. Wet on wet and wet on dry techniques will be discussed, as well as value and how to accomplish all values on the value scale with watercolor. Come brighten up your December with a day of vibrant watercolor painting! This workshop is for anyone wanting to improve their control over watercolors and is best for those with some watercolor experience.

cost: $125

9:00am - 3:00pm (we will break for a short lunch)
All materials are provided, but if you have favorite watercolor supplies of your own, feel free to bring them.

FALL GLASS AND RESIN WORKSHOP WITH KAREN GOLD
$50.00 October 4
You will create three glass and resin window ornaments for fall of your own design. All materials will be provided. You may add any small trinkets, baubles or costume jewelry of your own. The resin takes 24 hours to dry so plan on leaving your pieces at the gallery overnight or bring a flat cardboard box to carefully transport them home.
Instructions for using a glass cutter and grinder will be provided. Children aged 12 and over are welcome if accompanied by an adult. https://maomgallery.com/classes-3-1

Thursday mornings 9:30-12:30 $180 plus supplies, hand building and wheel throwing. this is a 6 week class designed for the beginning to advanced student. Students will also learn terms and techniques for clay. This is an on going class where students sign up for 6 weeks and then decide if clay is for you! The price includes use of the pottery wheel, kiln for firing and glazes, plus other supplies. Students will pay additional for clay $25 and tools that can be purchased on Amazon for around $10. It's a small fun group!
**This is off site from Missouri Artists On Main, but still located in St. Charles, 10 minutes from the gallery.

Entrees must be hand delivered to MAOM between the hours of 11am - 4 pm on Sunday, Sept. 27 or between the hours of 4-5:30pm on Tuesday, Sept. 29. https://maomgallery.com/events The entries for this show can be 2D or 3D. MAOM looks forward to showcasing your view of the Harvest season around us! Artists may submit up to 4 works of art for an non-refundable entry fee of $10 per artwork. All work must be for sale.
