On a September night in Montreal in 1993, Curtis Pride got his first Major League hit, prompting a long, emotional standing ovation from the crowd of 45,757 fans. Profoundly deaf since birth, Pride couldn’t hear their thunderous applause. But as the cheers grew louder, he realized he was feeling those vibrations within his chest—an undeniable acknowledgment of an extraordinary achievement. MLB’s first deaf player in almost 50 years, Curtis Pride went on to play more than 420 Major League games over an 11-season career and is now an MLB Ambassador for Inclusion. Curtis’s memoir “I Felt the Cheers” is a powerful anthem of ability, diversity, and overcoming the odds.

Sign language interpreters will be provided for this FREE show on Thursday June 19 at 8PM!! Come see Hamlet!! Should be a great show. They will have an area reserved for you to sit so you can see the interpreters.

Sign language interpreters will be provided on Wednesday July 16!! Show starts at 730. Website suggests arriving by 6 Purchase tickets in Tier 4. It is General Admission seating. They will have a a section roped off in front of the interpreters for you all to sit!! Tickets are 20.95 each.
