We’re hitting the ground running on September plans for MO’shi Expo, including a guest roster for virtual meet & greets! First up, we have the tail-whipping, slaying idol Juna Unagi! Please give her and our upcoming guests a supportive splash as we look forward to welcoming folks through the ether(net) to our neck of the woods.

You may have seen our ads during AnimeSTL, so let's properly introduce this new project! MO'shi Expo is a new production by us that will focus on Vtubing and will take place at Union Station on Sept 12 & 13, the weekend after the Japanese Festival. We'll be utilizing some of their ballroom spaces for an exhibit hall, virtual meet & greet area, and main stage area for panels and performances by our guests. We're looking forward to providing a place for Vtuber fans to celebrate in the Midwest, and it's sure to be a musical time! Look forward to upcoming announcements sewn between AnimeSTL happenings.

Con planning is done, time for con planning! What used to be our quiet off-season is now just as busy as the rest of our planning timeline. Spring into summer will have us finishing AnimeSTL 2026 items and beginning 2027 ones, with July being when the main room block at Embassy Suites opens (exact time to be announced later).

We've also got two fandom events we're preparing for in the fall of this year! GATEway FATE returns for FFXIV and Final Fantasy fans during October, and we've got a brand new project in September called MO'shi Expo happening at Union Station to celebrate the world of Vtubing!

Stay tuned for announcements for all of our projects in addition to other fun promos that relate to the nerdy happenings in the STL area. Hope ya'll have recovered from your con antics and your summer plans are looking fun!

We emerge from the pile of storage totes and broken down cardboard boxes to give a little thumbs up that we're still here, and we hope everyone survived the post-con depression and storms okay. Thanks to our crew, the passionate attendees, the wonderful exhibit hall peeps, the fantastic guests and food vendors, the venues' awesome team members and more; we've survived another show year! We've been taking a break the past week to recover and enjoy the nice weather and will be back soon to talk post-con items, feedback, and some of our 2026 projects coming up. May your start to May be a Mayvelous time and thank you all for your support in allowing us to produce AnimeSTL for ongoing 21 years!
