Mark your calendars for July 11th and come join us for a fun evening at the arena while supporting a great cause!
This Play Day is one of the biggest fundraisers for our Mountain Rodeo Association Royalty Program. Every dollar raised goes directly back into the royalty program to help provide opportunities, awards, appearances, and experiences for our royalty contestants throughout the year.
This year’s Play Day is proudly hosted by our 2026 Mountain Rodeo Association Royalty Contestants, who have been working hard to make this a fun event for everyone!

✨ Yesterday, the Mountain Rodeo Association hosted its 3rd Annual Speech & Modeling Clinic to help our royalty contestants prepare for competition! ✨

We were honored to have our current royalty β€” Queen Sadie, Princess Bailey, Little Miss Delilah, and Tiny Princess Vivian β€” along with visiting royalty Glennville Jr. Queen Ava and former Mountain Rodeo Association Queen Karissa join us for a fun and educational day.

Throughout the clinic, contestants learned how to confidently walk the runway, deliver an effective speech, and choose appropriate interview and modeling attire. We also enjoyed a hair styling demonstration, where participants learned tips and tricks for creating royalty-worthy hairstyles.

To help everyone feel more comfortable and confident on stage, we played fun games and activities that encouraged public speaking, teamwork, and self-confidence.

A huge thank you to all of our royalty, volunteers, parents, and contestants who attended and helped make the day a success. We are excited to watch these young ladies continue to grow and shine throughout the competition season! πŸ’™πŸ‘‘πŸ€

Unfortunately, we did not have the minimum number of contestants attend our mandatory orientation meeting to guarantee saddle awards for every title and our High Money award.

Because of this, we are extending the application deadline until Friday, June 5th. We are hopeful that a few more young ladies will take this opportunity to join us for an incredible summer of growth, friendship, horsemanship, and fun!

If you are interested in competing for the 2026 Mountain Rodeo Association Royalty Program, applications will remain open until Friday. All applicants must attend our first practice with horses on Friday at 6:00 PM at the Mountain Rodeo Association Grounds. Call Jessica Wolter @5592880755

Delilah rode her heart out and came home with some amazing accomplishments:

We are so proud of our 2025 Princess Bailey Gibbs for receiving a scholarship from the American Legion Post 621 for an essay she wrote for 8th grade promotion. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, Bailey had the honor of reading her award-winning essay during the Memorial Day service at the Squaw Valley Cemetery while honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Queen Sadie McCormick, Little Miss Delilah Rodriguez, and Tiny Princess Vivian Rodriguez were also there in support, showing what the Mountain Rodeo Association royalty program is all about β€” supporting and encouraging one another every step of the way.

Congratulations Bailey! We are so proud of you and all you continue to accomplish. ❀️
