We would like to honor the life and memory of our recently departed friend and Springville Playhouse Board member, Karl Young. Over the decades that Karl was a part of our Board, he showed his numerous talents in set building, directing, acting, and play-writing. However, more than these accomplishments and talents, Karl’s unending kindness, integrity, and compassion are his true legacy. He has been a voice of patience and knowledge, as well as a sincere friend, always willing to help when needed. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend as his friends and his audience. We will miss his presence in our board and on our stage, but the legacy he left in the Springville Playhouse will last well beyond our lifetimes.
