A little reintroduction since it’s been a while.
Hello, I’m Ashley Rose.
I’m 34 (35 soon… yikes), born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, and now living in Western Massachusetts with two cats, two dogs, and the love of my life.
I’ve been in clean since February 21, 2013, a journey that has shaped the way I move through the world. It continues to teach me patience, self-trust, and growth.
For many years, my work was deeply rooted in survival. Learning to navigate life with Complex PTSD, I painted my way through grief, loss, and difficult seasons. Those pieces carried a lot of weight, and they helped me through some of the hardest chapters of my life.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you may have noticed things have been changing around here.
As I’ve continued healing, my work has evolved alongside me. While honesty and emotion remain at the center of what I create, I’m finding myself increasingly drawn toward hope, resilience, and wonder. Through florals, wildlife, and nature-inspired realism, I try to explore themes of transformation, and growth.
For a long time, my paintings reflected where I had been. These days, they’re beginning to reflect where I’m going.
My hope is to build something sustainable here while sharing pieces of my story in ways that help others feel seen, understood, or a little less alone. If my work can offer even a moment of comfort, reflection, or connection, then it has done what I hoped it would.
Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or are just finding your way here, thank you for being part of this journey and for allowing my work to become part of your story.
I dedicate my work to the little girl who never believed she would have the life she has today, and to my boyfriend, whose unwavering love and support remind me each day that more is possible than I ever imagined.
Love always,
Ashley Rose ❤️
