If Music Be The Food of Life...Play On! -William Shakespeare

OVERVIEW: Greene Room Productions (501c3) originally based out of Monson, MA is a theater company dedicated to providing quality, hands-on, cultural, opportunities to children and adults. GRP has an extensive after-school theater program for ages 3.5-college, encouraging youngsters to be leaders, exhibit good work ethic, respect others, be creative, and to present themselves in a confident positive way. GRP also produces an outdoor immersive theater experience called “The Woodland of Wonder” at Silver Bell Farm (Monson) in the fall, and a MainStage show in the spring.

2018-2019 GOAL: GRP is currently raising funds to create a backbone position (Education Director) for the after-school program. The Education Director will run the after-school program, overseeing volunteers, and direct and/or co-direct the chosen show material. The Education Director will work closely with the Executive Director who will be transitioning to developing and organizing programming, while creating financial stability for the company.

CURRENTLY: GRP would like to thank the generosity of the Management of the Eastfield Mall for making the donation of the new rehearsal space a possibility. Without community giving and support of businesses and individuals small theater companies like Greene Room Productions, would not exist.
