Thanks to a generous $35,000 grant from The Schneider Foundation, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra will continue bringing music education directly to students through programs like Young People’s Concerts and Ensembles in Schools.

If you have been to one our concerts in the last few years, you might have noticed an increase is buses on the north side of Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. It is all because of our ever growing Seniors at the Symphony program!

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, we are able to provide discounted tickets, transportation, and a whole lot of memories to our senior communities in and around Springfield. Music has been shown to reduce feelings of loneliness and depression in seniors, offering a sense of community and belonging. It can also stimulate cognitive functions, promoting mental agility and memory retention.

Thank you Greene County Senior Citizens' Service Fund, Mumford Investments, Creekside at Elfindale, Maggie Wilcox, Great Southern Bank, The Fraley Family Fund, and Cook Family Foundation.

On Friday, we were awarded a $9,000 grant thanks to Springfield Regional Arts Council and Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

This generous support will help us sustain and expand our education and outreach programs, bringing the power of live music to more students, families, and community members throughout the region.

Thank you to these organizations for investing in the arts and helping us inspire, educate, and connect through music. We are grateful for the incredible support of our community!
