Another Barnstorming Carnival has come to an end, and what an unforgettable weekend it was.
There is something special about watching vintage airplanes fill the skies, classic cars line the airport, and families make memories together. For a few days, it feels like we step back in time and experience the spirit of the original barnstorming era all over again.
To everyone who flew in, brought a car to the Cruise-In, volunteered, sponsored the event, or simply came out to enjoy the weekend—thank you. Your support is what makes the Barnstorming Carnival so much more than an airshow. It's a celebration of aviation, history, community, and friendships both old and new.
A very special thank you to the City of Springfield, Springfield Beckley Airport, our incredible volunteers, and our generous sponsors. Countless hours of planning and hard work go into making this event possible, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
This year's lineup of aircraft was one of the most unique we've ever had, and the Cruise-In was filled with beautiful vehicles and great people. Seeing children experience these airplanes for the first time, watching old friends reconnect, and meeting so many new faces reminds us why we continue this tradition year after year.
