Abe Fest Abe Fest is designed as a celebration of arts for the greater Springfield community by showcasing local and national music acts as well as local food and art.

Abe Fest FAQs

Q: What time does everything start? A: We’ll open up at 6pm each day, with music beginning at 6:30pm. Rain or shine. Q: I didn't buy an advance ticket. Can I purchase a ticket the day of the event? A: You bet. Just visit the BOS Center box office. Q: There is rain in the forecast. Will the concert be moved inside? A: We’ve been evaluating the weather all week, and have decided to mo

ve forward with our outdoor setup. After all we’ve been through the last 2 years, we NEED a rockin’, outdoor celebration. We’ll take a pause if needed for everyone’s safety; but the show is going on OUTSIDE! Q: Can we bring lawn chairs to the plaza? A: Lawn chairs are not permitted on the plaza, but if you’re looking for seating the Suites or VIP will have tables and chairs if you’d like. Also there will be some tables and chairs set up in the lobby if people need to take a break. Q: Will food, beverage and art vendors accept credit cards? We can’t speak for all of them, so we encourage attendees to be prepared to pay cash if card sales are not accepted. There is an ATM in the BOS Center lobby. Q: Can we bring in our own food and beverages? A: You know the drill: Outside food and beverage is not permitted. We have an excellent variety of food and beverages available for your onsite purchase. Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? A: We hope this won't happen, but we will pause the concert if a safety determination is made. Attendees can seek shelter in the parking garage or inside the BOS Center if needed.
