This Spring Women's Artist Retreat is a three-night, four-day retreat workshop to be held in May at Rockbridge Trout Ranch. ll be tentatively a Mixed Media artist, incorporating a variety of materials. Cynthia Bylander, former Public School teacher and artist, is our instructor. First Day begins at 3:00p.m. Register, check in and get ready for three and 1/2 lovely days of Art and Fellowship. Dinner will be provided on the first evening. After dinner we will meet in the conference/community center with a demo, get acquainted and set up for the rest of the classes. You may leave all materials in the conference/community center. (please do not leave personal items ). The first full day of the art workshops includes, Breakfast, Lunch and a Dinner of your choice. All meals will be at the restaurant at the ranch. There will be a refrigerator and microwave if you choose to bring any special food. You may also bring your own Refreshing Adult Beverage as well. The second day will include all meals. On the last day, we'll have a fabulous Brunch before the 12:00pm departure time, this gives plenty of time for group photos, show & tell, hugs and goodbyes. Participants will be staying in the White House. It will house 12 participants with "each head has its own bed!". Other facilities (two person motel rooms) are available for overflow participants. The workshops and daily art set up are The Community Room.There are plenty of other areas on the ranch for creative inspiration as well,
The Cost of the Woman Artist Retreat (includes workshops, accommodations, facilities and meals and treats) is $450. There is a limit of 20 participants for this retreat. Reservations will be on a first-come/first-serve basis. A $100 deposit will hold your spot and would like to have your deposit by November 15th. The workshop must be paid in full by April 15th. After April15th a late fee of $25 will apply. (Refunds will only be made if another participant takes the place of the person who cancels.) If the workshop fills, opportunity for “drop-in” participants without accommodations will be available. That information will be posted on the FB page.
