Lick Creek Lick Creek is its own thing. You can’t compare it and you can’t explain it. You gotta come to a show and see for yourself.

Lick Creek formed in 2013 and started playing shows December of that year. Since that time we have grown by leaps and bounds on the stage and off. We love to play country with a little edge that makes you wanna get up and dance. We have a philosophy that its not just how well you play a song but what kind of energy you put into a performance. Come see why Lick Creek is quickly growing to be the most talked about band around.

And just like that the fair is over.... The long lines, the parking hassles, the heat... all pale in comparison to the pure joy of getting to play music for an enthusiastic audience. Hell, enthusiastic might be an understatement. I love everything about it. Seeing the familiar faces that you only see during the fair. Meeting new friends who have never seen you play and may never see you again. At the end of the last night, after everyone has gone home and the dim lights of the tent show only the empty beer cans scattered on the ground, I like to sit on the bare stage, watching the last of the fair workers make their way to the parking lot, and think - damn, I can't wait for next year 🥲

This is our drummer Bob Bryant. Bob doesn't always get featured in many band pictures. Drummers get shafted like that. But Bob deserves to be in more pictures. Not because he's good at throwing his sticks up in the air and catching them without missing a beat (which is cool to watch if you are so inclined). But because when Bob is drumming the tempo is always locked in and without that steady engine the rest of the LC train does not work. So here is our yearly Bob picture. He may go unseen in the glory of post show photos but he will continue to work in the shadows driving that train down the track, perfectly on time, without skipping a beat.
