About Kristen Jurgens
I am a local artist and teacher. I am thrilled to be rolling out my new business, which will include paint parties, murals, custom paintings, illustrations and portraits. in Art Education at SIU Carbondale. I spent a couple years in Austin, Texas and landed in Colorado for close to twenty years. I’ve been back in the Midwest

for over 6 years now and loving it. Paint Parties
I am so very excited about hosting paint parties! You and your friends can enjoy a lovely evening of cocktails, good company and painting. I will provide all materials (canvases, reference photos, brushes, paints, easels, etc) and of course my expert teaching skills. Paint Parties will cost $30 / person with a minimum of 6 people and the maximum of 20. This is a great way to unwind and cleanse your soul through art and laughter. And, of course you will leave with your very own creation and a big smile on your face! Paint Parties can be a unique way to celebrate, reunite, or simply enjoy your time! Looking for a way to promote your business? Murals are great advertising and a wonderful way to liven up a building internally or externally. I have done a handful of murals throughout the years, the latest being in the gym at Lanphier High School
