Where there’s a witch, there’s a way
When I was a child, I searched for magic. Anywhere, everywhere, anytime. I drew up schemes to catch whatever seasonal magical being was said to haunt the holiday. Leprechauns, the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, ghosts, vampires, dragons.
When I grew older, I thought the only way we could experience magic was through stories. But then a story about real witches changed my life. I discovered there were people who practiced magick in the real world, and for them, it worked.
So, I started studying and dabbling. I learned my cards and runes and basic correspondences. The first spell I ever did brought me my cat, Mogwai, who is a daily reminder that magick must be real, because how else could I have stumbled upon a being so perfectly suited to be my lifelong companion?
Now, my life’s goal is to continue telling stories to help us experience magick and to also help others experience magick, either through a fortuitous tarot reading, a successful spell consultation, or a handcrafted magickal curio.
