📍Saturday, the celebration continues at the Springfield Museum of Art from 6–9 PM with a special viewing of Black Life as Subject Matter III by the legendary Willis “Bing” Davis, sounds by AKA The Sound Scientist – light bites, drinks, and an interactive art experience.

With a background as a contemporary artist whose figurative work explores identity, self-reflection, and care, Jamaal has served as head curator for much of Art Noire’s existence, helping shape the vision, the exhibitions, and the voices that continue into 2026.

As an artist and educator, and the sole instructor of the Black Boy Brilliance program, his work and perspective have been central to how this space shows up and who it makes room for.
