I almost disappeared… but God wasn’t finished with me. ❤️

The last few years have been one of the greatest journeys of my life—filled with incredible highs, devastating lows, mistakes, lessons, growth, and more perseverance than I ever knew I had.

In 2025, my Google Business Profile was disabled for over a year, essentially wiping my small business off the map. At the same time, I was helping support my sister and her four children through a four-year health crisis.

Being responsible for a family of seven while trying to keep a business alive was overwhelming.

But through it all, I was not alone.

Without the Lord, my clients, and my incredible support system, I honestly don't know where I would be today.

My longtime clients, my day-one people, the people who continued booking, sharing my work, sending their friends, checking on me, encouraging me, and believing in me—you carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Honestly, without you, I might be living in a box down by the river, subsisting on government cheese. 😂

But somehow, I made it.

And I know I didn't make it alone.

I give all the glory to God.

I've made mistakes. I've taken wrong turns. I've tried to do things my own way more times than I care to admit.

But there was always another path up the mountain.

Sometimes He walked beside me.
Sometimes He carried me.
And sometimes He dragged me, kicking and screaming. 😂

But He never let me go.

When I walked through the furnace, I wasn't burned. When the waters looked like they would overtake me, I didn't drown.

As I approach 43, I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I am still here.

Still walking.
Still creating.
Still learning.
Still helping people.
Still making an impact.

I am so grateful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—for His patience, mercy, grace, loving kindness, protection, and guidance.

And as my son prepares to leave for boot camp on November 1st, I know another chapter is beginning. I pray that God continues the work He began in me and gives me the strength to walk faithfully into whatever comes next.

One thing I have learned is that love is bigger than our differences.

Jesus loves all the children of the world—red, yellow, black, and white. They are precious in His sight. ❤️🌎

I am grateful for the incredible diversity of this world—the beautiful colors, cultures, backgrounds, stories, and beliefs that make humanity so interesting and beautiful.

We don't have to agree on everything to choose compassion over division, kindness over hatred, and humanity over the things that separate us.

There is more than one path up the mountain.

And somehow, by the grace of God, I'm still climbing.

So today, I simply want to say:

THANK YOU.

Thank you to my clients.
Thank you to my family and friends.
Thank you to everyone who supported me.
And thank You, Lord, for carrying me when I couldn't carry myself.

Without God, my clients, and my support system, I would not be standing where I am today.

I made it here.

And I have a feeling He isn't finished with me yet. ❤️

There have been plenty of moments when the road was difficult. I’ve had a lot of people counting on me — including my sister, who is navigating a major health crisis, and her four children, who need additional support.

So, for me, giving up simply wasn’t an option.

I had to find a way. And sometimes, when there wasn’t a way… I made one.

Every challenge, every late night, every sacrifice, every class, every training, every client, every failure, and every success has brought me to this moment.

I’m incredibly grateful for the people who have believed in me along the way. This award means so much because it represents more than a trophy — it represents the journey. 🏆✨

Thank you, Universal Beauty Academy & Studio, for allowing me to celebrate your students, your school, and this beautiful industry that I love so much.

Here’s to continuing to learn, grow, teach, create, and inspire. ❤️

👁️ THINK THE NEEDLE IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PART OF PERMANENT EYELINER? THINK AGAIN.
Your eyes are my #1 priority. Period.
The biggest concern isn’t simply the needle—it’s preventing pigment, numbing product, or debris from remaining in the eye, where it can irritate or scratch the cornea.
That’s why I take eye safety seriously:
✔️ Prescription 20% lidocaine numbing cream for comfort
✔️ Lubricating drops before, during & after
✔️ Eyes remain closed unless I instruct you otherwise
✔️ Careful eyelid manipulation
✔️ Minimal unnecessary wiping
✔️ Continuous monitoring of the sclera
✔️ Thorough rinsing during and especially after the procedure
✔️ Inspection beneath both upper & lower lids before you leave
And if I’m quiet during your appointment? That’s intentional. 😂
I need you focused on one instruction:
“Keep your eyes closed unless I tell you to open them.”
If your eye becomes irritated, or you cannot safely follow instructions, I reserve the right to stop the service.
✨ HEALING STARTS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
In my extensive experience with permanent eyeliner, arnica has been a magical addition for helping reduce bruising and swelling and supporting a smoother healing process.
Adequate nutrition and hydration are important, too. I love incorporating chia seeds into smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
I also recommend avoiding excess sugar and alcohol before your appointment.
If you take baby aspirin, fish oil/omega-3, flaxseed, ginkgo, garlic supplements, or anything that may affect bleeding, speak with your physician before making any changes. Never discontinue prescribed medication without your doctor's approval.
Have cataracts, dry eye, or another eye condition? Tell your artist beforehand. Extra precautions may be necessary.
💗 FIRST-TIME EYELINER?
I often recommend starting with an eyelash enhancement before jumping into an elaborate eyeliner. It lets you experience the procedure and healing process before committing to more.
Because permanent eyeliner is PERMANENT.
A subtle lash-line enhancement may fade significantly over time, while more saturated pigment placed higher on the eyelid can potentially re

👁️ EYELINER SAFETY ISN’T OPTIONAL.

When I tattoo eyeliner, my #1 job is protecting your eyeball. Period.

One of the biggest risks isn’t the needle—it’s allowing pigment, numbing product, or debris to remain in the eye. Foreign material can irritate or scratch the cornea, which is why thorough rinsing and inspection are essential.

I use prescription 20% lidocaine numbing cream to maximize your comfort, along with lubricating drops before, during, and after the procedure.

I also:

✔️ Keep the eye closed and carefully manipulate the eyelid
✔️ Minimize unnecessary wiping
✔️ Monitor the sclera throughout the procedure
✔️ Rinse as needed during the service
✔️ Thoroughly rinse and inspect beneath both upper and lower lids before you leave
✔️ Require you to remain alert and able to follow instructions

Your most important instruction?

“Keep your eyes closed unless I tell you to open them.”

If I’m quiet during your appointment, that’s intentional. I’m concentrating on your eyes—not having a conversation that could distract you from following instructions. 😉

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

In my extensive experience with permanent eyeliner, arnica has been a magical addition for helping reduce bruising and swelling and supporting a smoother healing process.

I also recommend a healthy diet and hydration. Chia seeds can easily be incorporated into yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothies as a nutritious addition to your diet.

If you take baby aspirin, fish oil/omega-3 supplements, flaxseed/flaxseed oil, ginkgo, garlic supplements, or other products that may affect bleeding, please discuss them with your physician before making any changes. Never stop prescribed aspirin or other medications without your doctor's approval.

If you have cataracts, dry eye, or another eye condition, additional precautions may be necessary.

For first-time eyeliner clients, I often recommend beginning with an eyelash enhancement before committing to a more elaborate eyeliner.

Because permanent eyeliner is exactly that—permanent.

A subtle lash-line enhancement may fade considerably over time, while more saturated pigment placed higher on the eyelid can potentially remain for many years.

Choose experience. Choose safety. Choose someone who knows when NOT to tattoo.

Your eyes deserve nothing less.

Safety is the most important part of eyeliner. Protecting your eye is my #1 job. Period.

POV: You woke up late… and you STILL look put together. 👀✨

That’s the beauty of permanent cosmetics.

You don’t have to spend your morning drawing on your brows, perfecting your eyeliner, or trying to make your lips look even before you walk out the door.

Fresh out of the shower? Still you.
Sweating? Still you.
Swimming? Still you.
Crying? Still you.
Running late? THANK GOD. 😂

Permanent cosmetics don’t replace makeup—they give you a beautiful starting point when you don’t have the time, energy, or desire for a full makeup routine.

And when you do have time to play with topical makeup? Go for it!

Think of it as waking up with your favorite features already enhanced.

Less time in the mirror.
Less second-guessing.
Less “I don't feel put together today.”
More time living your actual life. ❤️

Because sometimes the biggest luxury isn't more makeup…

It’s more time.

Would you rather have an extra 20 minutes in your morning—or spend it doing your makeup? 👇

3½ YEARS. OILY SKIN. ONE POWDER BROW SESSION. 👀

This is what a 3½-year-old powder brow can look like on oily skin — and yes, this is her real healed result. ✨

She originally came to me about 3½ years ago for ONE session of powder brows, and they lasted beautifully.

But here’s something people don’t always realize:

Longevity depends on more than just your skin.

Your technique, pigment, skincare, lifestyle, and natural cellular turnover all play a role.

For example, Nano hair strokes generally don’t last as long as powder brows because the technique deposits less pigment into the skin. Powder brows create greater pigment saturation, which can provide longer wear.

And pigment choice matters tremendously.

Some pigments can age gray, look overly “tattooed,” or build up in the skin over time. The goal is a pigment that maintains its intended color and fades naturally rather than shifting dramatically as it ages.

These brows are a beautiful example of LI Pigments in action. 💕
They've held their color beautifully and are simply fading naturally.

Her skincare routine matters, too. She wears sunscreen, but she doesn't regularly use a lot of high-end skincare products or get frequent facials. And honestly… look at that gorgeous skin! 😍

Skincare treatments, exfoliation, and anything that increases cellular turnover can contribute to faster fading. And at 30, her natural cellular turnover is generally faster than it will be as she matures, when turnover naturally slows.

This time, she wanted darker brows to complement her darker hair, so we customized her pigment and used a classic powder brow technique that will heal soft while giving her the deeper definition she wanted.

Fresh powder brows can look bold — but she knows the healing process, and this isn't her first rodeo. 😉

3½ years. Oily skin. One session. Real healed results.

This is exactly why I believe you should look at HEALED work before choosing your artist. Fresh brows show you today. Healed brows show you the work over time.
