🚨 UNPOPULAR OPINION: A GOOD TATTOO ARTIST WILL SOMETIMES TELL YOU NOT TO GET A TOUCH-UP! 👀

When my clients return years later, I get to see how my work has stood the test of time. And honestly? Sometimes they come in convinced they need a refresh, and I end up telling them they don't need one at all! 😂

Sometimes you need your brows waxed. Sometimes your moisturizer is leaving a film over your tattoo. Sometimes your sunscreen isn't rubbed in properly. And sometimes there's literally makeup sitting on top of your tattoo!

I've seen all of these scenarios more times than I can count. Before we add more pigment, let's make sure you actually need it!

That's why I include complimentary healed consultations for my established clients. I want to see how your results have aged, assess your skin, and determine whether a refresh is appropriate—or whether we should leave those beautiful results alone. ❤️

Here's something else I've learned over the years: We can get a little addicted to our permanent cosmetics. We become so accustomed to seeing them that we start thinking, “If a little more looks good, a little MORE must look even better!”

Have I mentioned that I LOVE my clients? 🥹❤️

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

I had the sweetest day catching up with my clients as they returned for their healed appointments, and seeing their beautiful results made my heart so happy!

One of my favorite parts of this career is getting to know you over the years. I get to celebrate your successes, hear about your families and adventures, and sometimes hold your hand through the harder seasons of life. We catch up, we laugh, sometimes we get emotional, and I get to be a small part of your journey.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like you were sent to me from above… not just from Google. ❤️

And let's talk about those healed results! Healed results speak volumes about an artist's skill. But permanent cosmetics is a partnership. My job doesn't end when you leave my studio. Your skin is healing, and what you do at home matters, too.

That's why I take the time to thoroughly educate every client on proper aftercare and how to protect their investment. Technique, pigment selection, skin, healing, and following aftercare instructions all play important roles in the final result.

Seeing my clients return healed beautifully, knowing they've taken care of my work, is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.

NOT EVERY DISCOLORED BROW NEEDS LASER OR SALINE REMOVAL! 👀

✨ Healed color correction after ONE session.

The skin is your canvas, and it can only hold so much pigment. Over time, the different components in a pigment blend can fade at different rates, changing the color your brows leave behind.

Most brown pigments are created by blending different colorants to achieve the desired shade. That’s why pigment selection matters!

LI Pigments is my go-to for powder brows because I value predictable fading and thoughtful pigment formulation. I specifically select pigments based on how I want them to heal and age in the skin.

So, if your old brows have changed color, don't automatically assume laser or saline lightening is your only option!

If you're happy with your existing brow shape, color correction may be a simple solution. Depending on the existing pigment, its saturation, your skin, and how the brows have healed, we may be able to neutralize that unwanted color without removing the old pigment first.

Of course, every set of brows is different, and not every case is a candidate for correction alone. That's where experience, color theory, and an understanding of healed results make all the difference.

The Evolution of an Artist

Becoming a great artist isn't just about mastering your craft.

It's about mastering yourself.

As an artist, I've learned that creating beautiful work starts long before I sit down with my tattoo machine.

It starts with sleep.

Nutrition.

Exercise.

Hydration.

Discipline.

Even controlling my caffeine intake—because when I'm creating delicate Nano hair strokes or precision eyeliner, I need complete control of my hands.

And I've learned to be extremely selective with my time.

When you tattoo someone's face for a living, you need focus. You need peace. You need structure.

The dream may start the journey…

But discipline is what elevates the artist.

You are your own masterpiece.

Trust the vision.
Trust the process.

WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS HEALED DARK SCAR CAMOUFLAGE RESULT. 👀

Healed after ONE session.

Scar camouflage doesn't erase a scar. The goal is to reduce the visual contrast between the scar and the surrounding skin, creating a more blended appearance.

My client traveled from out of state to see me, and we were both thrilled with her healed result after her first session. ❤️

We've now completed her second session, and I'm excited to see how everything heals over the next 8 weeks.

For breast cancer survivors, there may be an important insurance benefit many people don't know about. The Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 (WHCRA) provides federal protections for eligible breast reconstruction following mastectomy, including required stages of reconstruction and, when applicable, ni**le and ar**la reconstruction and repigmentation.

I work with a medical billing company that specializes in paramedical tattooing and insurance advocacy, helping eligible clients navigate their insurance benefits and advocate for coverage so they can focus on their healing while I focus on the artistry.
