Little Keylee was just so sweet! She was very excited, but also bless her little heart she was so nervous and had tears in her eyes. Everybody’s nervous of course, but this poor little girl has to get shots every day, which explained a lot. That also gave me the perfect opportunity to explain to her how getting pierced by me is NOTHING like getting a shot! With a shot all you get is a red spot and a Band-Aid. Yes it’s something that you can make it through, but there is absolutely nothing rewarding about it. My pinches leave sparkles! As I went over aftercare and was explaining things she was listening very intently and calming down. And showing me some smiles! It’s important to tell your kids that when they come in, I don’t just run up on them and pierce them. I go over aftercare and get them all cleaned up and marked first. And then me doing what I do will almost always calm down even the most nervous of kids! I told her that lots of girls are nervous and cry ahead of time. But that almost all of them start laughing when I pierced them! I told her that the most nervous kids often sound crazy and laugh like the joker when they do! 😂🤣 Not only did she calm down, oh my goodness it was just too cute when I did her first ear! She absolutely lit up with the biggest smile! Her smile got even bigger when I did the second one and afterwards she could not stop smiling! Literally! 😁😂 She was so happy and just glowing! She chose beautiful Swarovski earrings and they look so pretty on her! She was very grateful and she thanked me several times! So sweet! It’s things like this that make me feel good inside!
