Springfield’s caffeine anarchists, serving seasonal brews that punch boring coffee right in the face. Monsoon Roastery is an environmentally conscious, community coffee roaster. We believe in 3 things:

Finding sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions to produce coffee that has less of a carbon footprint and working towards being zero waste

Building social capital among our community a

nd with other businesses

Bringing high-quality, freshly roasted coffee to our local residents, businesses, and partners

We strongly believe in reducing, reusing, and recycling. Everything inside our roastery is made from repurposed materials, we establish composting programs with our wholesale partners, run on 100% wind power energy and use compostable materials at our roastery and events. We partner with various, local businesses to build social capital among Springfield and its surrounding areas. By social capital we mean “the networks of relationships among people who live and work in a society, enabling that society to function effectively”. In partnering with other businesses, also striving to perfect the art of their craft, we cross-promote so that the community can benefit from various high-quality products. This approach to partnerships helps to boost the local economy. We are convenience and customer service-driven. We bring coffee to where people are or need it, and we provide education and comprehensive workshops to understand coffee better.

Coffee Thought:

“But wait, if I could shake the crushing weight of expectations.

Would that free some room up for joy or relaxation, or simple pleasure?

Instead, we measure this growing pressure
Keeps growing, keep going… “

*thanks for the articulation, Encanto! 😜

So… our roaster definitely broke last Thursday.

It’s been a week friends. They say bad luck strikes in three and we’re over here counting up to ten holding our breath 🫣

Some weeks life can really life.

But fear not, we have fixed the roaster and we are back in business.

Small lesson of the day, go graciously. You never know what a person is carrying 🤎

Carlota de Limón 🍋

We start with coconut condensed milk that turns the whole thing lush, velvety, and almost dangerously smooth. Fresh lime zest wakes everything up, vanilla rounds it out, and then we crown the whole situation with a cloud of vanilla cold foam and a sprinkle of crumbled Mexican wedding cookies.

The lime keeps it bright and fresh while the condensed coconut milk makes the whole thing ridiculously creamy. The cookie crumbles on top, somehow becoming the best part after it softens into the foam for a minute.

Also, by some strange twist of fate, it’s vegan. Which feels almost incorrect considering how rich this thing tastes.

Available for Cinco de Mayo while it lasts 🇲🇽

Hi Folks. We have an exciting opportunity for local food vendors, craftsmen, and other local businesses.

Baystate is on it's third year of hosting a farmers market. It's every Wednesday starting in May and going until October from 11 am to 4 pm. It is free to join, and you have access to 10k medical professionals.

We are helping them source more vendors. If you or someone you know has a license and insurance to vend in Springfield, please send us an email: [email protected] or shoot us a DM. We are looking for all kinds of small businesses, artists, and craftsmen.

Organic Panic 🌿

The grind gives off orange peel and warm sugar right away. When it blooms, it lifts clean. No muddiness, just a bright, almost citrusy steam coming off the cup.

First sip lands crisp. Think Meyer lemon and a light floral note, then it shifts into a honeyed sweetness that coats the tongue without getting thick. As it cools, it leans softer, a little more rounded, but still clear all the way through. The finish sticks with you, clean and slightly sweet.

This lot comes out of Rwanda 🇷🇼, produced by women delivering to Mbizi Washing Station. Grown at high elevation, fully washed, and handled with precision from cherry to cup.

Available online and at the shops for you 🫵🏽
