Meet the performers stepping into the world of the Brewster family—where hospitality is generous, relatives are unpredictable, and nothing is quite as innocent as it appears.

A new episode of OFF BOOK WITH BETH is available now wherever you listen to podcasts. 🎙️

Beth sits down with Leslie Forrester, Executive Director of the Springfield Regional Arts Council, for a conversation about what arts leadership actually looks like when nobody’s watching. Rivets that won’t come out of a theatre seat. A little girl in the bathroom during a show. Trash on Walnut Street after a festival. A thunderstorm at 4:30 on a Sunday. And a dozen people packed into Leslie’s car, waiting out the lightning.

It’s the work behind the work and the stories you don’t usually get to hear.

OFF BOOK WITH BETH is NOW AVAILABLE wherever you stream your podcasts! springfieldlittletheatre.org/off-book-with-beth

90 YEARS, 90 STORIES — ROBERT PITTS

“'I just think everybody [at SLT] had a common goal when we get together to do that,' he reflected. 'I’ve never even thought about the professional side of that when I was doing it. It was more we’re all together trying to accomplish one thing and that is to make the audience feel like they are sitting in something special. It was a special time.'”
