THESCON & IMPROV AUDITIONS! 💙💛

We are holding auditions this Friday from 3:30-5:30 in the PAC for the following Thescon events: solo acting, duet acting, group acting, solo musical, duet musical, and group musical! Please prepare whatever piece you would like to compete with! You are also welcome to prepare a piece for your second choice event. For example, if you wanted to do solo musical, you can perform a solo piece and then do a duet as your second option. The auditions will be held in front of your theatre cabinet. Sign up for auditions using the link in bio! ⬆️

If the event your are wanting to do is not on this list, you can still do it! Still fill out the form and have a follow up conversation with Ms. Moore. 😁

You are only eligible to audition if you are a sophomore, junior, or senior who is inducted into Thespian Society. If you are yet to be inducted, it’s not too late! Please fill out the induction form on the Kickapoo Theatre website as quickly as possible! ⏰

Additionally, we will be holding improv auditions on September 9 at 4 PM. No sign up in advance is necessary. Be prepared to play a variety of improv games and to make
big acting choices! Auditions are required for both new and returning members. It is important to know that you can NOT be on both tech team and improv team. 🎭

TECH AUDITIONS! 🎨🧵🪚💄

September 9th and 10th we will be holding tech auditions! Each department has a different time and place for their audition, so please look at the details of each audition. The department’s holding auditions are:
🧵 COSTUMES
🎨 PAINTING
🗡️ PROPS
🪚 CONSTRUCTION
💄 HAIR & MAKEUP

No experience is needed! Please show up with whatever the auditions requires your bring. Each department is different! You are more than welcome to audition for more than one area, just notify the team leads in case their is overlap with the audition times.

Teams will be announced later that same week! If you make a team, then you will need to be present in the PAC from 3:30-5:30 every Wednesday!

SUITE SURRENDER CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS! 🏨🌴

Suite Surrender has nine incredibly hilarious characters to audition for! Use these breakdowns to help you decide on the perfect audition monologue! 🎥

Auditions are just 3 DAYS AWAY! If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for an audition slot with the link in bio! Auditions will take place on August 31 and September 1 at 3:30 PM. Remember, you only have to audition for ONE of the two days! 🗓️

Kickapoo Theatre is holding auditions for our fall play, Suite Surrender! 🏨🌴

Suite Surrender is a comedic play about two feeding Hollywood divas who accidentally get booked in the same hotel room. This is hilarious play is open to all freshmen through seniors interested in theatre, no matter the experience! 🎬

Auditions will take place onMonday, August 31st at 3:30 pm & Tuesday, September 1st at 3:30 pm. You only need to come to one!Audition Sign-In for both days will be in the PAC Lobby. Please prepare 30 sec - 1 min COMEDIC monologue to perform for our directing team! 🎭

IT’S SUMMER HANGOUT TIME! ☀️🌊

KHS THEATRE MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT! ⛳️🏆

This year, KHS Theatre is having its first ever MINI GOLF tournament on May 17 at 3 PM at Fun Acres ! It is going to be sooooo much fun, and we even have prizes for the winner!⭐️

There will be 6 teams, one for each cabinet member. In order to get a team, you MUST fill out the RSVP. If you do not fill out the RSVP, you will NOT be a part of the competition. The RSVP is due Friday at midnight, and teams will be announced that Saturday! The RSVP is in our bio! ⬆️

It is going to be an absolute blast and you won’t want to miss it! We can’t wait to see you there! Check our bio to RSVP! 💚

SPRING SHOWCASE! 🎶💐

Spring showcase is THIS THURSDAY at 7 PM in the Kickapoo PAC! The night will feature the drama club one act, The Worst Fairy Tale Ever, and the seniors will have their final performances! The event is free to everyone!

We can’t wait to see you all there! It’s going to be spectacular!!! ⭐️

KHS THEATRE’S 2026-2027 SEASON! ⭐️🎉

SUITE SURRENDER 🏨🎞️: Our fall play about two feeding Hollywood divas who accidentally get booked in the same hotel! A farce filled with miscommunications, laughs, and twists around every corner!

MAMMA MIA 🌊🏛️: Our spring musical about a young woman who invited her three potential fathers to her wedding in Greece without telling her mother! Featuring the music of ABBA, Mamma Mia is one of the most charming tales about a mother and daughter’s friendship.

ADDAMS FAMILY JR 🕷️🦇: Our junior musical about the whimsically spooky Addams Family and their troubles when the daughter, Wednesday, falls in love with a normal boy. This show is perfect for any 6th-9th grader interested in joining theatre, and will be student directed by Sophia French and assistant directed by student Kaydence Miller!

Since our Jr. Musical, Children of Eden, is only ONE DAY AWAY, we wanted to showcase the our fabulous leads! These kiddos have put so much work into making this show incredible, and you won’t want to miss it!

CHILDREN OF EDEN JR: NOAH’S FAMILY SPOTLIGHTS!🕊️🌈

Since our Jr. Musical, Children of Eden, is only TWO DAYS AWAY, we wanted to showcase the actors who portray Noah’s family! These performers help convey the beautiful story of Noah’s ark, as well as many other captivating tales from the book of Genesis.
