The Movement Studios Dance Not your average competition studio, our philosophy at TMS is geared towards cultivation of artistry in a professional, inspiring atmosphere.

The Movement Studios strives to transform everyday dancers into artists within an exuberant creative economy. The premiere dance studio of the DMV for children, teens, and adults, TMS serves to sculpt strong, well-versed dancers in a professional atmosphere. With classes for students ages 3-18 and regular drop in classes for adults, we offer a multitude of styles for all ages and abilities, along

with two different tracks for competitive dancers. Led by an award winning team, paired with inspiring Faculty and a dedicated staff, The Movement Studios is a bustling home for aspiring dancers and artists. Not your average competition studio, the philosophy at TMS is one geared towards cultivation of artistry and preparation for “the real world of dance”.

Congrats to May Student Of The Month Louisa!
She was nominated by Ms. Jordan stating, "Louisa has been a hard worker since day 1, but this year especially with being on the competition team she has blossomed into a beautiful dancer. Her hard work and dedication to her craft don’t go unnoticed. She consistently is working toward new goals every week. She has also been a great example for her fellow classmates and is always ready for class with a big smile on her face!"
