May your coffee be strong and your week fly by!

I've been making some affordable art for eBay and selling under the pen name of "Rowan Finch". These are great pieces for collecting or gifting and a different type of art from my oil paintings.
I'll be sharing them here on my page

Would look amazing in a kitchen, office, or contemporary space! "Coffee Break". Original acrylic painting (not a print!). 11" x 14" on stretched canvas.

There’s something almost meditative about building up layers of paint.

This is a detail shot from my latest piece — purples and blacks with little flashes of red hiding underneath.
Oil paint has a way of holding onto every mark you make, which I find equal parts terrifying and exciting.

What do you see when you look at this?

This one came from instinct.

Oil on Stonehenge paper, painted quickly, without overthinking. I wasn’t trying to make him perfect — I was trying to listen.

Dogs carry such quiet honesty. Strength and softness at the same time. I wanted this painting to live in that space.

Lately I’ve been trusting the emotional language of my work more. Letting the marks stay. Letting the painting speak without explaining everything.

If this piece speaks to you, I would love to know. 🤍
