So I've been experimenting with some new materials and techniques, and I really enjoy working with resin, polymer clay, and cut paper. I don't enjoy the health hazards of resin though, and all the precautions, necessary ppe, etc. I have always had the itch to create art that isn't 2 dimensional, though, so being able to work in layers is gratifying. This is about an inch of resin, but was built up in 7 or 8 layers(lost track). First layer is cuttings of paper, then I used clay, natural debris, glue, moss, and even jewelry parts from my wifes jewelry cabinet (with permission!) I will post some process pics shortly.
