Let’s clear something up.. summer is not a “bad” time to get tattooed. You just can’t treat a fresh tattoo like healed skin.

Follow the below for about two weeks before you treat it like normal skin again:
• Keep it clean and dry
• Avoid pools, lakes, and soaking until healed
• Keep it out of direct sun (for our blue collar folks working outside, SPF sun shirts help a ton)
• Don’t over-moisturize it
• Wear loose clothing when possible
• If you sweat a lot, gently clean it after

Keep it clean, don’t soak it, avoid baking it in the heat, and let your body do its thing.

Healing a tattoo in the summer isn’t much different than any other season if you’re mindful during the healing process. ☀️🖤
