Today is our ONE YEAR anniversary at the Springdale Pool Lounge! 🍻🎱

Growing up, I always enjoyed playing pool and darts. I remember going to a friend’s house who had a pool table, and we would play for hours on end.

In my 20s, I enjoyed going to places like the Green Room in Fayetteville far more than going somewhere just to sit and have drinks. I always wanted something to do while having a beer.

One night, a buddy and I went out to play pool and were told we were seventh on the waiting list. They wouldn’t even let my friend through the front door because they were at capacity. In that moment, I realized there had to be better options available.

About five years ago, I opened Elm Street Gym in Springdale. Over those five years, I’ve become really fond of the Springdale community and watched downtown Springdale come back to life.

As I looked around downtown, I noticed plenty of places to get food, coffee or dessert—but not many places to actually DO something afterward.

I was willing to bet there were other people out there who enjoyed playing pool and throwing darts too. Turns out, there are!

Our original floor plan was about 3,000 sq. ft. with four pool tables and four dartboards. Very early on, it became obvious we needed more room. We expanded into the neighboring space, added four more pool tables and grew to over 5,000 sq. ft.

And once again, you guys have filled it!

We opened August 31st of last year, and today we celebrate ONE YEAR.

It’s been quite the journey. There have been easy days and some really hard ones. Sometimes I wake up the next morning to 15 missed calls and 20 missed texts and have to figure out what happened the night before 😂

But overall, we have a really good crowd, and I’m really proud of what we’re doing in downtown Springdale.

Thank you to the Springdale community and to everyone who has walked through our doors this past year. We want to continue providing a place where people can have fun, socialize, gather and build memories.
