Klein Collins Drama The Klein Collins Drama Department We have a very active Drama Department.

We generally do two mainstage shows, one musical, one competition one-act play, three black box productions, and two-three traveling shows. We also attend Thespian Convention and TETA (Texas Educational Theater Association) convention. Our drama club has numerous events throughout the school year such as: professional theatre attendance, Renaissance Festival attendance, Children’s workshop for age

s 7-11, Drama Banquet, and much more. Our philosophy is that students should be exposed to all aspects of theatre to become well rounded in theatre as well as the arts. Learning acting, technical theatre, and observing different professional theatre productions help develop a strong theatre participant and as well as teaching critical thinking skills that transcend the realm of theatre and can be applied in other school subjects and life. We encourage you to sample our department by attending a production and see what talent and enthusiasm awaits you.

One night only! Come support theatre in public school, your local community of students, and their teachers. Show your support by coming to the show! (see what I did there... it's theatre humor 😁)

Our production class students will be performing their EOY class plays tomorrow night starting at 5PM. Tickets are sold at the door for $5 to see all the shows (you are not required to see every show so please feel free to come and go). Update: Due to construction on campus being behind schedule, Ninja Tech week is cancelled. Stay tuned for further details about work week 2.

Time sure flies!!! Monday, July 17th, is the beginning of Ninja tech week, only for specific people, including all officers. Then the week following, everyone joins in the fun for the official Work Week, from 9-1 every day that week. Possible ice cream social, parent meeting, and more might close out the work week, so “stay tuned in” for further details.
