What do Coconuts, Attack of the Vine Packs, and The Great Hunny Rescue have in common? They are all things you can experience tonight at our weekly casual night for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game. We'll have 4 coconut decks available for anyone wanting to try that format out, we'll also have The Great Hunny Rescue available if anyone wants to try and beat it, and we'll even have our regular tournament decks if anyone wants to get some last minute practice in for any upcoming Set Championships. Great for new players and experienced players alike.

To our Pokémon community:

Pokémon's 30th Anniversary Set is almost here! There are a few things that are different for this release so please make sure to read this so you are informed!

When is it releasing?

The first wave of product is marked for release on September 16th however, the Pokémon Company has given strict rules to distribution channels that the product can NOT arrive to stores prior to the 16th. We are delaying when we will be putting it on sale - assuming the product does show up on the 16th, we will be putting it on sale starting on Friday September 18th at 10am.

What will it cost?

This set has a lot of demand, we know this. There are a lot of you that want to open it and a ton more who want to hoard it to resell later. At Halcyon, we have always prioritized people who want to experience the joy of opening a product and chasing the hits over people who want to flip the product. As the world keeps evolving and it gets harder and harder to make sure our product is getting to people who will enjoy it, we've decided to implement a new pricing structure. Starting with the 30th anniversary set, we will begin offering two different pricing tiers. One for allowing us to break the shrink wrap/glue and one for keeping the product sealed. I'm aware this is a very polarizing decision and it's one that I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on, but recent experiences have given me no choice. Attached below is an image showing all of the prices for this set release. I do not know at this time if we will continue this practice going into Delta Reign, that info will come later.

The treasure chests and scream canisters were overflowing as 25 Illumineers engaged in a fierce competition for their share of the loot. Between rounds Illumineers even engaged in a different game of skill, attempt to knock over the tower of scream canisters for a prize! In the end, James reigned supreme and claimed the trophy and the largest share of the loot. Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting our Attack of the Vine Charity Set Championship. A reminder for tomorrow's Hobbit release: Play Boosters have been delayed! We will not have Play Boosters available for sale. Unfortunately they have been held up by WotC and we will update you when we have more information.

Day three at Gen Con was Lorcana mixed with some more Board Games, Plus a couple of cool extras.

1. The Hell of a Deal launch party was so much fun! Can't wait for this to arrive in store. It is coming very soon!

2. Cardhalla was cool to see as always. It will be completely gone in the morning, this picture id just a small section pre-destruction.

3. They have finally done it, they have turned collecting Board Games into an actual TCG. With Shelfy, your starter pack includes a blank shelf and a few titles, then you open packs to try and fill your shelf, trading with your friends for titles you need.

4-6. My big win at Lorcana was pulling the Moana Iconic in my triple set sealed event. We are also brining home a copy of the Great Hunny Rescue so you can try it out at Casual Night before the official release in October.

Day Two at Gen Con was all about the board games. Here are a few of the games we played today. We also attended Reinerpalooza and event celebrating the Board Games of Reiner Knizia.
