Today, we read a Spookley” book!
Then- the kiddos got to decorate their own pumpkin! We had great discussions about how everyone is different.. different looks, different clothes, different ideas, different laughs- and ALL of it is ok, as long as we are nice friends and helpful to one another!’

Tomorrow we meet siblings that will join our daycare family!!

We have been able to go to the park a few times this past week!! One day, two cop cars were sitting there! I figured they needed something so do 😝 so, we approached them and a gentian cop got out and immediately started interacting with all of the kids!! He was so upbeat, kind made the kids’ day!

Yesterday I found a big ‘ol caterpillar. We put him in a tote and watched him for a bit before releasing him way out back!!

I love this weather as summer wk da down, and Fall begins to approach with these cold mornings!!

Last week- we walked to the park and donated books in the little library! We then ate some cupcakes for Chandler’s bday/last day!!

Thank you to Ivy for buying us a new farm animal book as we learn about them this month!

We also talked about tractors , what their purpose is and their big tires!! Followed by making tire track with paint! 🚜

My heart is sad as we said goodbye to Chandler on Thursday! It brings me comfort that we will have lots of play dates planned with her and her older sissy!!!

Good luck at your new daycare Chandler, it’ll be different for a minute - but I know you’ll do amazing!!

Also- thank you SO MUCH for the gift cards and coffee, I can’t wait to use them! 🤍

September is FARM month!!
We will be learning all about farming.. and I will be right along with them!

Mainly learning which animals live on a farm, what noises they make, what they eat and what a farmer does!
